社長 李月秀 (社名:Emma
)
本社創立於1990年5月30日 ，為南台灣首創第一個英語扶輪社，並為全台灣首創兼容各行各業之男、女性及中、外籍菁英人士之扶輪社。創社會員32位，推選前美國在台協會高雄辦事處處長JOSEPH R. DONOVAN (社名:LIAISON)擔任創社社長。例會中全以英語發音，希望指引外籍社友暨商旅友人蒞臨港都，肩負國民外交之責，故取名燈塔，即為此義。
目前本社現任社長-李月秀 (社名:Emma )，秘書-謝宗勳 (社名:Owen )，社員人數27名， 計男性社員14人，女性社員12人, 及外籍名譽社員1名 。固定例會時間為每週四中午12時10分 ，於高雄金典大酒店43樓翠玉廳舉行。會議以雙語(中、英)發音進行。

Kaohsiung Lighthouse Rotary Club has now 27 members; including 14 male members, 12 female members, and 1 foreign honorary
member, and is an English - Chinese bilingual speaking club. The Club President in 2012-13 is Rotarian Emma,
and Club Secretary is Rtn. Owen.
We meet every Thursday at 12:10PM, 43F, the Splendor Hotel – Kaohsiung
Our meeting runs one and half hours. The program will
include fellowship & lunch time, and an excellent speech presentation,
sometimes we might change our meeting program style from indoor to outdoor
activity, such as mountain hiking, one or two-day tour around Taiwan, visiting
some educational factory or company, festival parties, go to a movie, concert, and
mostly, community service activities--blood donation, charity activity, visit
homeless children’s center, senior’s home…etc. And we welcome all visitors to
attend our meeting as our honorable guests!
